Kirtland, Jr. Lifetime Achievement Award from the Animal Behavior Management Alliance (ABMA). This award is granted only when there is a qualified nominee and honors individuals who have made significant achievements in the field of behavior management by setting new standards for animal welfare.\u00a0<\/span><\/div><\/div>

Recipients of the John M. Kirtland, Jr. Lifetime Achievement Award demonstrate their commitment to improving animal welfare, educating peers, and providing mentorship and support. Kelly Elkins, past president of the ABMA, presented the award to Ken <\/span>on Tuesday, April 16, 2024, <\/span>stating, \u201cI would say that everyone who knows you, Ken, agrees without question! From your work with elephants and dolphins to dogs, you truly deserve this award. You have created our training bible and are our training guru. You ensure that we continually learn, grow, and have opportunities to improve. You inspire us and set the bar for where we aim to progress. So, I am pleased to present you with the Lifetime Achievement Award.\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>
