The objective is simple: in just 15 seconds, students aim to teach their dogs to lie down in a \u201croasting pan.\u201d The training process reinforces the dogs\u2019 behavior in incremental steps\u2014first for placing their feet in the pan, then for sitting in the pan, and, ultimately, for lying down in the pan.<\/p>\n<p>While the pan may resemble a roasting pan, rest assured that no dogs (or humans) are roasted during this exercise.
